UPCOMING (and ongoing) EVENTS

• Ladies' Bible Study 
  • The ladies meet every Thursday at 9:30am at the church.
  • There is a nursery available.
  • The current study is utilizing Beth Moore's book: Daniel.
  • There are no meetings on days when the Tunkhannock Area School District does not have school scheduled (including summer months) or on days when school is cancelled or delayed due to inclement weather.

• Men's Prayer and Fellowship Breakfast  
  • Please Note:  There is still no men's time.  Our current plans are to resume meeting, but on Monday evenings about 6:00 or 6:30 P.M. - with a time of fellowship, prayer and Monday night football.  The date for resuming will depend upon our finishing the basement, which we hope will be by Thanksgiving (or deer season: if you keep your dates this way).  Please check here to keep posted.

• Fellowship Dinner   Please Note: There will be a Fellowship Dinner on January 11th, 2009.
  • On the first Sunday of each month we have Communion during the morning service.  It is our custom to have a fellowship dinner immediately following this service - an informal time when we can all relax and get to know each other a little better.  Everyone is welcome to come and stay.  Many people bring food to share - such as a casserole, or a salad, or a dessert, but it is not required - and we always have plenty of food for all.  Please join us if you can.

    • For children from first through sixth grade
    • Meets Sundays from 5:15 pm to 6:45 pm
    • Activities include:
      • Bible study with some Scripture memory
      • Games

      • Community Projects

    • For young people from seventh through twelfth grade
    • Meets Sundays from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm

• Vacation Bible School - August 4th to 8th, 2008  (Monday thru Friday)
  • Unfortunately, we had to cancel VBS for 2008 due to extensive construction going on at the new church.  We plan on resuming again in 2009 and hope to see you there.  We will post the dates and times as next summer approaches.
